Ley Imbamba Eyaki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial and Administrative Sciences and several certifications, including one in Mineral Supply Chain Audit (National Certified Trading Chain (CTC) Auditor and Third-Party Auditor of the ICGLR) and Internal Control (Fund for Financial Inclusion). He also has other certifications, including trainer of trainers in GBV case management / SEA and Education in emergency (EiE).
Ley has more than 15 years of professional experience in development program management and finance. He has worked in the areas of mineral supply chain (Audit, Traceability, and Formalization of ASM) and humanitarian programs (Education, SGBV, Wash, NFI, etc.), where he has worked with humanitarian and development organizations such as ACTED, ACF, AIRD, IMPACT, FECONDE, and Samaritan’s Purse in the eastern part of DR Congo.
He also worked for 6 years in the MECRECO/COOCEC microfinance institution where he successively held the positions of Head of General Services, Administrative Secretary, Credit Officer, and Risk Analyst. As a Project Manager in several organizations, Ley has a mastery of results-based management as well as program monitoring and evaluation.
Ley is passionate about reading, traveling, and information and communication technologies (ICT). He joined The Impact Facility in April 2024 as a Jet Minerals Challenge Project Manager to bring his expertise in fighting corruption and promoting financial inclusion in the critical minerals supply chain.
